Shooting gay porn is the most fun aspect of my job. I get to see all these cute guys, casting them in my ultimate fantasy and get to decide what their role will be in my films.
Before I start a project, I always have a script in mind and a basic timeline of events to make the movie more interesting. Some directors forget all about this and only focus on the sex but my personal opinion is that the story line does matter, after all if someone watches the whole feature they’re going to be clueless afterwards and sit up only with a few tissues of wet cum in their hands.
I’ve often been criticized for the ‘quality’ of my porn, some critics say its bad, while others praise it as first class. The real issue is that we all are different and like different things. Reverent Mercury might want the camera to stay still focusing only on the close ups while Prime Minister Blair might like to see more of the action going on all around him.
You can quickly see after you buy the first film from a certain director or a studio what kind of flavor they offer, and if you like it, buy more.
That was my input on Quality… more to cum on my blog soon!

I had just the biggest problem the other day when shooting ‘Shaving his Virginity’, I had set up my camera to catch the cum splashing action of the actor into the young recipients mouth but the bloody cum dripped on the other side with almost no cum visible from where my camera was set up. I guess you can’t always guess how gravity calculates in to the cum equation but in this case I misjudged the headwind by far :<
We ended up waiting, eating and feasting on some great protein rich foods and re-shot the scene with the cum dripping on the correct side of the cheek. Kind of makes one wonder, can someone make a cum splash projection formula for me?

It’s a great job being a pornographer and all but can you imagine being in this position, just inches away from the live action? I’ve always wanted to write a script for a cowboy movie and I did just that, and I believe the DVD is just out about now. Planting his Seed will be available from all better corner shops and adult DVD retail websites soon so look for it and tell me if you liked it.
Here is some inside scoop on the scene this photo was taken in. We had originally casted another actor in the role of the Villon of this scene, but for some reason that actor didn’t show up and we where panicking for hours trying to find a replacement. I had the brilliant idea to go to the local village and look around the street if I would see any unemployed factory workers (apparently there was a strike at the time of the film being shot) and guess what; I found the perfect Villon and he was much better than we had originally cast for the part. Turned out to be a great day of shooting on our first gay Cowboy themed title ‘Planting his Seed’

Its always interesting to do close ups, it gets you close to the private parts of the actors and really can sometimes make your harder than you can imagine. Being a professional I never express my interest in the models, after all, that is wrong and abusing their trust is a sure way of making them harder to work with and therefor you’ll end up with a worse film afterwards. My studio, KM Studios is part of an organization called BPAV and its an organization that sets guidelines that it’s members must follow.
“BPAV was founded on the belief that the adult entertainment industry must proactively self-regulate to avoid unreasonable government interference and to secure its future as a stable, safe, profitable, and professional industry.”
On the website you can also read about the mission of the alliance, it includes but not limited to “Encourage responsible, ethical and professional practices in adult video production, to denounce any type of performer mistreatment resulting from a non-consensual act and to promote responsibility on the part of performers for protecting themselves and one another from sexually transmitted diseases.” the website reads.
Keith Manheim supports Best Practices in Adult Video and encourages and I recommend that you show your support as well by buying only products from companies that are part of the BPAV alliance.
